Last week both New Zealand and Korea resumed conducting race meetings in modified forms after their respective lock-downs, with full racing schedules to follow over the coming weeks.Racing was suspended in Singapore on April 7th, 2020, in line with the Singapore Government Circuit Breaker measures.
Racing will resume without on-course patrons with strict health and Safe Management Measures in place. Due to the current situation, the Singapore Turf Club will announce racing fixtures for July to September 2020 over the coming days.
In Australia most Covid-19 restrictions around the racing industry have been removed. It is expected that from the start of July, 2020, owners, racing club members and the public will be back on course throughout the country. Australia, along with Japan and Hong Kong, continued to conduct race meetings without on-course patrons throughout the pandemic lock-down phase since March.
