The International Horse Sports Confederation (IHSC) has announced that the IHSC General Assembly has unanimously elected Mr Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, Chair of the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (IFHA) and Chairman of the Asian Racing Federation (ARF), as the Vice-President of the IHSC. He previously served as a standing representative of the IFHA on the IHSC General Assembly.

Mr Engelbrecht-Bresges will become the third Vice-President for the IHSC, succeeding Louis Romanet, who is the Chairman Emeritus of the IFHA.

The IHSC was created by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) and the IFHA as the first formal vehicle for co-operation between the international bodies for major horse sports.
