The first Australian Group 1 of the year is the C.F. Orr Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on February 14th with the Black Caviar Lightning Stakes (1000m) down the famous straight sprint course at Flemington on February 21st.

This is followed by the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) and Group 1 Futurity Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield, and the Group 1 Chipping Norton Stakes (1600m) at Warwick Farm, all on February 28th.
