Professor Yung Shu-Hang Patrick is world recognized in the field of Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. He is the Chair or Board members of several influential local & international organizations on Sport Medicine & Arthroscopy surgery, such as International Federation of Sports Medicine, the Asian Federation of Sports Medicine, and The International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery & Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, the Hong Kong Association of Sports Medicine & Sports Science, and the Asia Pacific Knee Arthroscopy Sports Medicine Society (APKASS).

Apart from clinical practice and field support, Prof. Yung also expanded his commitment in providing sports medicine education and clinical service to amateur sports lovers, by running the first ever Master Course in Sports Medicine & Health Science in Hong Kong since 2005, trained thousands of medical personnel in the field of sports medicine & Arthroscopy surgery. Besides, the sports medicine team also organize the SMART convention annually to promote exercise for health and disseminate knowledge about sports injury prevention.
