The Asian Racing Federation is delighted to announce that leading futurist and demographer, Bernard Salt AM, will be delivering a keynote address at the 37th Asian Racing Conference in Seoul in May 2018.
Salt’s address, “Racing through the Asian Century”, will focus on the key current and future demographic trends which will characterise the ‘Asian Century’, and present both opportunities and challenges for global racing.
Salt is widely recognised as a leading expert on social, consumer, generational and demographic trends in Australia, Asia and globally. His work and commentary has been published extensively across all forms of media. He has published six books, including the best-selling, The Big Shift (2001), The Big Picture (2006) and More Decent Obsessions (2014).
Formerly, Salt was a national partner at KPMG. He is currently the Managing Director of The Demographics Group, writes two weekly columns for The Australian newspaper and is an adjunct professor at Curtin University Business School. Salt was recently awarded the Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the 2017 Australia Day honours for significant service to the community as a demographer, and through research and commentary on social and cultural change.
