The Honourable Justice Jack Forrest has over 40 years legal experience, having been a Queen’s Counsel, and later a Justice of the Trial Division of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia for over 10 years.
Justice Forrest possesses an extraordinary background which combines legal expertise, racing knowledge and experience in racing administration. His Honour has a life-long passion for racing, having been a licensed trainer for over ten years, as well as an owner, breeder and rider.
As counsel, he appeared in many leading racing disciplinary cases before Australian tribunals and courts. He was a founding member of the Racing Victoria Integrity Council and is now a member of that body. He is also a Director of Racing Analytical Services Limited, which was recently appointed as an IFHA Reference Laboratory.
Justice Forrest will bring his legal and racing integrity experience to Seoul as he delivers an address on “Global Racing Integrity - Issues and Responses".
