Session 3
Fan Engagement through Media, Marketing, Data and Sponsorship
The Fan Engagement session will examine fan engagement from all angles, and look at different strategies of global sports. It will focus on ways for racing to unlock its potential through the creation of media content, new products and harnessing of data, to reach new audiences, deepen fan engagement and attract new sponsors.
The session will also showcase the making of the highly successful Australian feature film, Ride Like a Girl, which tells the story of Michelle Payne, the first female jockey to win the Melbourne Cup. Delegates will be joined by Michelle Payne, and the film’s acclaimed producer, Richard Keddie, as the session explores not only the extraordinary story, but the challenges of making a popular racing film in the current environment.
