About Asian Racing Federation

The Asian Racing Federation (ARF) is a regional federation comprising 29 national racing authorities and racing-related organisations from across Asia, Oceania, Africa and the Middle East.

Anti-Illegal Betting

In October 2024, the ARF Council moved under the auspices of the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (IFHA) and been renamed as the IFHA Council on Anti-Illegal Betting& Related Crime (IFHA Council).

The Asian Racing Federation Anti-Illegal Betting Taskforce was established in 2017, and in 2020 became the ARF Council on Anti-Illegal Betting & Related Financial Crime.

The purpose of the IFHA Council is to foster and enhance international cooperation among horse racing operators, regulators, intergovernmental organisations and government agencies in order to better combat the threat of illegal betting and other financial crimes to horse racing integrity in particular, and sport in general. The ARF continues to support the work of the IFHA Council, with many members of the Council coming from ARF member racing authorities.
